Humble Beginnings (Chester, PA)
Founded in 2023.
Based in the Upper Chichester/Chester, PA area, we are all committed to teaching, developing, and organizing youth basketball. The vision at Humble Beginnings is to give inner-city children opportunities to travel, experience new environments, and see beyond the limits of their neighborhoods; showing them that their future can be bigger than what they see every day.
Through this partnership, we have brought girls together for competitive scrimmages, collaboratively launched skill development opportunities for 4th - 8th grade athletes, and developed our Lady Beez (8th Grade Travel Team) where they attend competitive tournaments to increase skill & team development, while creating spaces where young players can grow, learn, and build confidence.
We are excited to continue and expand this partnership, providing even more opportunities for girls to develop their game while being supported in a positive, structured environment.
